Seeds of Good, Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley’s donation program for employees to give through their companies, has a new partner.
Financial Horizons Credit Union donated $5,000 Thursday for their 2025 contribution to the program. With branches in Yerington and Hawthorne, the credit union serves half of the Club’s service areas, making the new partnership that much more important.
“Financial Horizons has been a great supporter of our Club for decades now,” said Travis Crowder, the Club’s chief executive officer. “This is just the latest example of them giving back to our communities.”
Seeds of Good allows employees at various companies and organizations to donate to Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley via paycheck deductions. Peri & Sons Farms, NVEnergy, Lyon County, Simons Hall Johnston and Mineral County all contribute to the program.
