The story of the Club

Our Club

Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley opened for kids and teens in 1999 in a single clubhouse when an old mechanic building in Yerington was transformed into a fully functioning Club. The Club has since expanded its reach to six locations throughout Yerington, Silver Springs, Dayton, and Hawthorne.

Expansion

• Attic Thrift Store opened 2000
• First Night in the Country 2002
• Renovations & Yerington expansion 2005
• Yerington Movie House opens 2008
• Opened Silver Springs 2009
• Opened Dayton 2010
• Opened Hawthorne 2016
• First ever ELC 2023
• Dayton Early Learning Center 2026

• Highest ever average daily attendance of 550 in 2024
• High ever total membership of 1,700 in 2019
• Moved to the Grange in 2024
• Most ever jobs created in 2024
• Most facilities in more communities in 2026

Our Future

The future is bright at Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley! With more members signing up, more facilities being built, and more early learning opportunities opening soon, we're rising to the occasion to meet the needs of our communities. We can't wait to break ground on our new Silver Springs campus in December 2026!
