What does it cost to attend?
Annual membership costs just $10 a year – the same it did in 1999! Daily and weekly fees apply based on attendance and are billed to households on a monthly basis. After school for one child is $25/week, before school is $15/week, and school breaks like summer are $40/week. Our daily rate is $10, and households will be charged whatever is cheapest. A child who attends after school twice in a week will be $20 (two daily fees), but a child who attends four days a week will be charged $25 (one weekly fee). After school is currently free in Lyon County thanks to a partnership with Lyon County School District and the 21st Century grant. The annual fee for our Early Learning Center is $20, and fees are based on location and age. Those costs can be found on our Early Learning Centers page.
What hours are the Club open?
Our Hawthorne, Dayton and Silver Springs clubhouses all open at 6 a.m. The Yerington clubhouse opens at 6:45 a.m.
Our Yerington, Dayton and Hawthorne clubhouses close at 6 p.m. The Silver Springs clubhouse closes at 6:30 p.m.
All clubhouses are closed to youth while school is in session and may be closed around lunch hours to all during the school year.
Our Yerington Early Learning Center is open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Does the Club get my child to and from school?
Yes we do! In Silver Springs, Hawthorne and Yerington, our Club staff walk members to school and make sure they get to the Club safely after. In Dayton, our staff, bus drivers and My Ride to Work partners safely transport kids to and from all five Dayton schools. This includes late starts, early outs and half days.
When can my child start attending the Club?
Youth can begin attending our clubhouses when they are five years old, the summer before they enter kindergarten. Teens can be Club members through the summer after they graduate high school. You can sign your child up on our membership page.
Our early learning centers serve kids from six weeks old through preschool promotion.
When do I need to register or renew my child?
Our membership year runs from the first day of summer through the last day of school every year. Registration typically opens in May, several weeks before current memberships expire. No additional registrations are needed for summer, spring or winter break, etc. For more information, visit our membership page.
