$600,000 in-kind donation will bring water to new NITC site
YERINGTON, Nev. – More than three miles of pipe, irrigation line and fixtures are on their way to the new home of Night in the Country, all courtesy of Western Nevada Supply and the Reviglio family.
When it’s all said and done, the in-kind donation will total $600,000 in support of Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley and its annual country music festival. While this is the largest single gift ever given by Western Nevada Supply and the Reviglio family, it’s just the latest in the 25 years of support given to the Club. In total, the Northern Nevada family has gifted more than $1 million to the youth organization which serves 1,500 kids and teens in Yerington, Dayton, Silver Springs, and Hawthorne.
“Tom, Jack, Tony, Rick, they’ve all been here for us for so long,” said Travis Crowder, the Club’s CEO. “Tom actually played a giant role in getting our organization started back in 1998, and Tony was a longtime board member. I get emotional thinking about what Western Nevada Supply and the Reviglio family have done for us. Humbling. It’s just humbling.”
When Night in the Country moves to its new home on pure farmland in 2024, just a mile down the road from the Lyon County Fairgrounds where it’s held now, concertgoers can buy tickets to the Western Nevada Supply VIP area and camp in The Reviglio Range area. Youth in Yerington can also get their homework done in the education room or play with their friends in the games room, all now located in The Reviglio Family Wing of the Yerington clubhouse.
“Boys & Girls Clubs has touched so many people’s lives, including ours,” said Rick Reviglio, president and general manager of Western Nevada Supply. “We are honored to be a part of this incredible organization and event.”
Western Nevada Supply and the Reviglio family have been longtime supporters of Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley and Night in the Country. Western has been an annual sponsor of the event and the Club’s projects, while the Reviglio family as a whole has made countless donations, including the land where both The Attic Thrift Store and The Club Teen Center are located.
This year’s Night in the Country Music Festival is July 19-22. General admission tickets are still on sale at nightinthecountry.org
